Day 1
Yep, trying PolyPhasic Sleep everyone! me!! loki! amazing no? i think i'm crazy! :S lol j/k. I couldn't possibly think that. I'm sure many others do however. hmm I won't be able to take the orthodox route of 20 minutes every 4 hours however as I have work and school, unfortunatly, the two do not really coinincide.
Oh right, I haven't explained myself. Basically PolyPhasic sleep is theoretically how animals sleep, so you get 20 minute sleep periods every 4 hours or so. so you get a lot more time on your hands in the end.
currently it is 3:23 am and I woke up about 3:10 from my last sleep, oh well, I guess that happens. Wow How tired. :S dondo sleep inertia isn't supposed to kick in if you sleep less than 20 minutes. but that is okay. I do not have any major assignments due within the next few days at school so I should be fine.
Oi, I really must apologize for my incoherant babbaling and constant drifting off topic. I don't really know why I have this problem of not being able to keep on track at times. It is really quite strange. I was thinking perhaps it had something to do with monophasic sleep, where I was sleeping too much or too little, irregularly. Hmmm in order to avoid that happening with polyphasic sleep I must make a schedual. here it is:
3:50-4:10 (to keep me going during the night)
7:10-7:30 (just before school)
11:30-11:50 (lunch break at school)
3:50-4:10 (just after school)
5:20-5:40 (Opt: just before work)
7:45-8:00 (break at work)
9:40-10:00 (Opt: just after work)
12:00-12:10 (mid night nap)
yep so I think that is an okay schedual, *squints is that approximatly 4 hour breaks before each sleep?*
yep kk so that is approximatly
2 hours without optionals
and 2 hours and 40 minutes with optionals
giving me an average of 2 hours and 20 minutes so...
that gives me 21 and a half hours of spare time or so
I decided to have the optionals in case I get really tired and need some time to sleep, after all 2 hours doesn't seem like much when compared to the 6 and a half I usually get. hmmm *thinks* maybe I was lacking sleep afterall? but then again what I noticed today is that after sleeping only 3 hours at night I felt better than I would on a normal day.
What I have noted is that I get really thirsty with all the napping and have to drink a lot of water.
I had headaches in the middle of the day but I took some tylenol and they went away after a nap.
One thing I might have trouble with is that nap at work because in order for me to have it. I Must show up to work on time because otherwise they will make me work extra at work. That isn't too much of a problem. My main concern is people bothering me.
At school I have no problem falling asleep in the middle of my computer class at lunch because everyone knows I don't get enough sleep at night and seem a little dreary throughout the day and they don't really mind.
I heard somewhere that they main problem with this kind of sleeping schedual is that people don't have enough things to do in order to fill up their time and end up falling asleep out of sheer boredom.
I don't really see that happening to me because I have tons of side projects that I wish to experiment with. Actually right now i'm going to send my Girl-friend Masha (pronounced Ma-sha) the links to all my other blogs, I'll probably add them into the links on the side if I have the motivation to later on, or the "time" lol, I think it is impossible for a peroson to truely to ever have enough time to do everything it is that they wish to do. Like if your really get down to it I am certain that anyone can come to the self-realization that life is short. It's really that simple.
Currently I have come to the realization that I am going to be doing a lot of sitting in front of my computer due to my excessive amounts of time. In order to allow for this I have moved my couch to the computer table got some arm rests, Honestly I think i got really creative and (Y) :D! I'm so happy!! :D I love mashinka!! *hugs(K) She's the cutest Little girl
